MEXT Teacher's Training Scholarship 2024

The Embassy of Japan is inviting applications for the MEXT Teacher’s Training Scholarship 2024. Every year Japan offers different scholarships both for students and teachers. This scholarship is for teachers who want to conduct research on school education.

The research will be conducted by the Monbukagakusho (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, science and technology, Government of Japan. It is a course which will prepare the participants to enter Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctor’s degree courses. The program itself is a non degree course.

The course will start in the month of October, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for MEXT Teacher’s Training Scholarship

The applicant must fulfill the following requirements;

Must be graduate of university or teacher training school
5 years of teaching experience ( Primary/secondary educational institute or teach training schools (excluding university) in their home country
Born on or after April 2, 1989
Intellectually and psychologically active and can spend an eighteen months period in an international environment
Willing to learn Japanese
The course will be in Japanese language and training will be provided

Note- In service university faculty is not eligible for this scholarship program.

Required documents for MEXT Teacher Training Program

Complete Application form
Letter of recommendation from institute principle
Statement of purpose or motivation to apply for MEXT training
At application stage medical form and other documents will not be required.

How to apply for the program?

As the program is initiated through the Japan Embassy in Pakistan. The application is submitted in hardform. Complete application form and required documents, closed them in an envelope. Write ‘’MEXT Teachers Training Scholarship’’ and send them on:
