OPP Graduate scholarships program offers a number of scholarships to Pakistani students to study at the University of Oxford. The scholarships are for one-year taught courses at the university. These scholarships include both partial and fully funded depending on the situation. Meanwhile, students can also apply for one year MPhil and DPhil courses, however, you will get partial support in that case.
OPP Graduate scholarships do not cover travel allowance. It depends on the availability of the funds, and only in some exceptional cases, students are offered travel allowance. The scholarships are only for graduate and post graduate courses. Also, remember that these scholarships are tied to Lady Margaret Hall college at Oxford. You may get admission in any Oxford colleges, however, if you receive the scholarship, you need to transfer to Lady Margaret hall College at the University of Oxford.

- You must be pakistani nationals ( whether residing in Pakistan or you are a British Pakistani)
- You have admission offer from one of the eligible graduate courses at the University of Oxford
- The scholarship is part of the LMH-Pakistan Initiative. If chosen, students need to switch their college to Lady Margaret Hall.
- The Tareen Oxford Scholarship is for full-time graduate courses at Kellogg College, except for the MBA program.
- It’s the first scholarship helping deserving Pakistani scholars from South Punjab to study at Oxford.
- The OPP Scholarship considers both academic merit and financial need.
- Some scholarships may prefer female applicants or students from specific regions.
- Priority is given to applicants for whom studying at Oxford could be a big opportunity.
- Applicants should show how they plan to contribute to Pakistan’s development through research and public engagement.

How to apply for an OPP Graduate scholarship ?
The applicants can apply for any master’s course at the University of Oxford. Once you receive an admission offer from one of Oxford’s graduate programs, you can apply for the scholarship through an online portal. The application requires you to fill personal information, academic information and questions regarding financing your studies.
You do not have to create an account to apply for the scholarship. You can fill the form in one go. The application will ask you questions regarding your course, course fee for academic year 2025, list of potential funding sources for your course, anticipated shortfall in funding, family background and other relevant questions.
The scholarship committee will evaluate your application depending on the information you will share. It chooses the best and most deserving students for the scholarship considering all details.
