Eligibility Criteria for DAAD scholarship
The scholarship is for the students of developing countries. The criteria for the Scholarship is as fellows:
- Must be from a developing country
- At least two years of professional experience post-graduation
- Graduation within the last six years
- Meet the admission requirements for the MIDE program
- Proof of English language proficiency
English Language Proficiency Exemptions
Applicants are exempt from the English Language Test if they meet one of the following conditions:
- Degrees taught in English, with official university confirmation
- University degree from an English-speaking country
Other applicants must provide proof of English proficiency, with test results not older than two years:
- TOEFL paper-based: at least 580 points
- TOEFL computer-based: at least 237 points
- TOEFL Internet-based: at least 96 points
- IELTS grade (ACADEMIC) 7.0
- CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), all levels
- CAE (Certificate in Advanced English), all levels
- BEC Higher (Business English Certificate)
- TOEIC 800 points or higher
- If English was the official language of instruction for the first degree, please supply official proof. TOEFL or IELTS are not required in this case.

Eligibility criteria for University Course admission
Applicants with a Degree from Non-European Universities
- First university degree with 180 ECTS (or equivalent).
- Admissions committee makes the final assessment of degree equivalence.
- At least 3 Economics classes recommended during undergraduate studies.
- Additional Requirements for 180 ECTS Degrees
- Provide at least 6 months of professional employment or training post-graduation.
- Or, obtain 30 ECTS while studying MIDE, extending the degree by approximately one semester.
Unconditional Admission
- Granted for undergraduate degrees equivalent to 210 ECTS (3.5+ years of study in Germany).
Verification Process

- Degrees from Pakistan require a HEC attestation stamp.
Non-Equivalent Degrees:
- Three-year degrees from Nepal and Bhutan.
- Degrees from Mongolia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Somalia.

- Total of 210 ECTS or the equivalent.
- Applicants with 180 ECTS are eligible but must:
- Provide at least 6 months of professional employment or training post-graduation.
- Or, obtain the remaining 30 ECTS while studying MIDE, extending the degree by approximately one semester.

- Minimum of 15 ECTS in Economics recommended during undergraduate studies.
