The scholarship is for the students from developing countries, check the DAC list for your country. Also, if you see any other scholarship where they talk about the DAC list of countries. This is the list they refer to. Therefore, if you are applying for a DAAD scholarship for developing countries, check out your country in this list of eligible countries. I would say remember this list wherever you find DAC but also keep checking as it gets updates as well.

- Citizens of the country that falls in’’Least Developed Countries’, ‘Other low income Countries’ and ‘Lower Middle Income Countries’ stated in the DAC List.
- Must have an offer from the University of Edinburgh and have accepted that offer or intend to do so.
- Must fulfill the course requirements and eligibility for the scholarship
