Erasmus Mundus 2nd International Poster Competition 2024

Erasmus Mundus 2nd International Poster Competition 2024: Research Beyond Boundaries! is now open for Applications. This competition is for the alumni of any Erasmus Mundus’s Joint degree programs( Masters, PhD). It’s an opportunity to showcase research to the global platform of Erasmus Mundus Association. Research and Innovation unit (R&I) of Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) invites applications. 

The 2nd International Poster Competition 2024 is a great opportunity for the Erasmus Mundus alumni to show their research. Entry to the competition is free. Erasmus Mundus is a fully fund scholarship program for students across the world.

How to enter the competition?

  • Submit your Poster through EMJMD or EMJDD students or graduate (Registered in EMA’s Community Portal) 
  • Each participant can submit only one poster as a main applicant (allowed to be co-applicant to second submission). 
  • Prepare the poster according to the template (given on the application form Link given at the end)
  • Submit the poster in PDF format printable at A0 Size
  • Picture must be 150 dpi at the size as so they can be print (e.g. if the A0 poster includes an A4 picture that needs to be approximately 1250 x 1750 pixels).
  • Ensure the images or text in the poster are original, no copyright or plagarism
  • Participation in this competition is Free.

Some key guidelines for the Poster submission 

  • Ensure that any included images are a minimum of 200 dpi, scaled appropriately for printing. For instance, if the A0 poster features an A4-sized picture, it should be approximately 1250 x 1750 pixels.
  • Maintain a balanced proportion of text to graphics, aiming for around 60%-40%.
  • Exercise discretion in the use of colors, employing them purposefully for emphasis, differentiation, and visual appeal rather than for mere display.
  • Avoid excessive use of vibrant and garish colors, as they may diminish the overall impact of the printed and visual content. Choose contrasting and complementary background and foreground colors, with a preference for a lighter background.
  • Entrants are responsible for ensuring that all images and texts used in their posters are free from copyright infringement or plagiarism.

Top 10 posters will be presented during the General Assembly 2024 (GA-2024) of the Erasmus Mundus Association held in May 2024 and be awarded with attractive prizes from EMA and a certificate from the R&I unit of EMA.

 Multiple winners of the competition will be awarded with a sponsored trip to EMA GA-2024.
