Fully funded Ellison scholar’s undergraduate applications are now open. The program supports students who will solve global problems through education and innovation. Ellison scholars will study undergraduate or graduate at the University of Oxford—the program funds course fees. The participants will get stipends to cover all of the living expenses. EIT plans to advance innovation under the guidance of global leaders, scientists, and corporate executives in health and medical science, food security and sustainable agriculture, climate change and clean energy, and government innovation and the era of artificial intelligence.
During EIT’s scholarship program for undergraduate students in the UK, innovation initiatives will encompass the entire development process—from research and discovery to practical solutions and global scalability. The institute offers projects in diverse fields, including:

The applicants must fulfill both Ellison Institute selection and University of Oxford acceptance.

Invitation to Apply: Semi-finalists for the Ellison Scholars program will be invited to apply to the University of Oxford.The program covers any full-time undergraduate course at Oxford, including:
- Three-year bachelor’s degrees (e.g., BA)
- Four-year integrated master’s degrees (e.g., MChem, MMath)
- Four-year graduate-entry medicine degree
- Six-year undergraduate medicine degree
Admissions Process
Applications to the University of Oxford will be handled through the University’s independent admissions process.
Final Selection of Ellison Scholars
Applicants who receive an offer from the University of Oxford become finalists for the Ellison Scholars program. Additionally, final selection process includes interviews conducted by the EIT Faculty of Fellows. Undergraduate Ellison Scholars will be chosen by April 2025, with studies commencing in October 2025.
