Fully Funded Singapore international Graduate Award 2025

The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) for 2025 is now open, offering a fully funded opportunity to pursue your PhD in Science and Engineering at top institutes in Singapore. The fully funded scholarship program covers your tuition fee, provides a monthly stipend, settlement allowance and airfare is covered.

The scholarship program is open for international students with excellent academic records. Also, a passion for research in Science and Technology. You must show strong English skills both written and spoken. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. The program supports PhD studies in computing and Information sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering and Technology and physical sciences. Singapore International Graduate Award Benefits

The award provides comprehensive financial support for a maximum of four years of doctoral studies, encompassing;

Full tuition fees,
Monthly stipend of S$2,200 (subject to increase to S$2,700 upon successful completion of the Qualifying Examination),
One-time airfare and settling-in allowances,
Estimated living expenses in Singapore ranging from S$1,400 to S$2,000 per month.

On-campus accommodation is available with priority given to first-year students.

Eligibility Criteria for the Singapore International Graduate Award 2025

Applications for the SINGA PhD Award are open to international graduates with a demonstrably strong passion for research in Science and Engineering, who are applying to study in Singapore for the first time.
Applicants must possess excellent academic achievements
Proven proficiency in written and spoken English
Positive academic references
An exceptional academic record.

Please note that the eligibility criteria are not exhaustive and A*STAR may consider additional selection factors based on prevailing scholarship policies, which are subject to periodic amendments.

Required documents for the Program

Valid Passport: Make sure it’s current and valid for the duration of your studies.
Passport-Size Photo: Upload a recent photo in JPEG or PNG format.
Transcripts: Submit English translations of all your academic transcripts, including both bachelor’s and master’s degrees (if applicable).
Degree Certificate(s): Provide your bachelor’s degree certificate(s) or scroll(s). If your certificate hasn’t been awarded yet, submit a letter of certification from your university.
Recommendation Reports: Two online recommendation reports are mandatory. Request your referees to complete them through the portal.

Additional Documents (Optional but may be requested later)

GRE Scores: Required for applicants applying to NUS supervisors/projects.
English Language Test Scores (IELTS/TOEFL/SAT/GATE): Optional but may be requested by the university for admission.

Account Registration: Be accurate with your information during account registration, as it will be used for verification.
Select the Correct Scholarship: Ensure you choose “Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)” within the application portal.
No Hard Copies: Submit all documents electronically. Do not send any hard copies to the SINGA office.
Apply Early: Early applications allow your referees more time to submit their reports before the deadline. Applications without two reports won’t be processed.
Data Accuracy: Double-check all information entered in the online application form before submitting. Amendments are not possible after submission.
