How to Apply for Heydar Aliyev scholarship

Applicants will apply through the Embassy or any official entity in partnership with the Azerbaijan government for this scholarship. You will find a link to the partner entity of your country through the official link given at the end.

Hence,  officially nominated by their respective state entities or government authorities (such as Ministries or Embassies), applicants must submit the required documents to the relevant authorities as part of the first stage of the application process. The deadline for submission is May 15, 2025, at 6 PM (Baku time).

If nominated, candidates will proceed to the second stage and apply through the Study in Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS) website between June 1 and June 15, 2025. After logging in, they must select the “Heydar Aliyev – International Education Grant” program as the admission channel.

Applicants can choose up to three different specialties at various higher education institutions in Azerbaijan under this program.

  • Download and complete the application form.
  • Gather all required documents and ensure they are properly translated (if needed).
  • Submit your application before the deadline through the designated email or portal.
  • Await the shortlisting process and prepare for an interview (if required).
