HIT Chinese Government Fully Funded Scholarship

The HIT Chinese Government Scholarship is announced in November, and the application deadline is February. The scholarship is offer to international students to pursue master’s or doctoral degrees. Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is a renowned university in China, consistently ranked among the top 10 in the country. This prestigious scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, and medical insurance.

To apply, candidates must create an account on the CSC online application portal and submit the required documents, including the HIT University code. Applicants must also meet the university’s admission requirements.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship

  • Citizenship: You must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China.
  • Age:For master’s degree programs: You must be under 35 years old when applying.

For doctoral degree programs: You must be under 40 years old when applying.

  • Health: You must be in good health, both mentally and physically.
  • Academic Background:For master’s degree programs: You must hold a bachelor’s degree.For doctoral degree programs: You must hold a master’s degree.
  • Language Proficiency:For Chinese-taught master’s or doctoral degree programs: You must have achieved HSK Level-4 Chinese proficiency.For programs taught in other languages, you must meet the language proficiency requirements of the specific program.
  • University Requirements:You must meet the minimum academic ability, language proficiency, and other relevant criteria set by HITSZ.

Scholarship Covers 

  • Tuition fee
  • On-campus dormitory
  • Monthly living allowance: No stipend is issued before arrival at the university.
  • Master’s degree students: CNY3,000/month
  • Doctoral degree students: CNY3,500/month
  • Comprehensive medical insurance: CNY800/year

Application Documents required for HIT Scholarship 

Following documents are required to apply for HIT Chinese Government Scholarship.

  • Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship
  • Passport homepage (valid until September of the application year)
  • Highest graduate certificate
  • Academic transcripts (from undergraduate program onwards)
  • Language proficiency certificate
  • Study plan (at least 1,000 words, approved by doctoral supervisor)
  • Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors
  • Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (valid within six months)
  • Bank receipt of application fee (USD60 or CNY400)
  • Non-criminal record report (issued within six months)
  • Acceptance letter (not mandatory)
  • Clear, authentic, and valid supporting documents
