Fully Funded Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Economics of Globalization and European Integration is accepting applications. It’s a 2-year full time study program for a global career. The Masters program consists of 120 ECTS credits divided into taught parts of 90 credits, 10 credits for internship and 20 credits for dissertation. It’s a mobility program that requires students to move to at least three universities in three different countries for degree completion.
If you are interested in doing research, or looking for a government job, or building your career for an international organisation in the field of economics, this program is for you. The program is designed around five components including:
- Advance skills in economic analysis, international economics and econometrics
- Solid knowledge on the economic mechanisms that are at work in the processes of globalisation and European integration including law and business competences
- Real-world policy making and the development of internationalisation strategies
- Personal experience in a global learning/working environment
- Qualified internship
Erasmus mundus scholarship for the Program
The selection for Erasmus Mundus scholarship is based on your academic excellence, professional experience, English language proficiency and Motivational letter.
The scholarship provides:
- Monthly stipend € 1000 per month
- Tuition fee
- Health insurance
- Travel expense
- Participation Cost

Eligibility Criteria for the program
You must have bachelors degree with 180 ECTs credits in University study Program in
- Economics
- Applied Economics
- Or any other related program
- Students of other fields such as Political sciences, International relations are eligible to apply if they have sufficient number of credits in the subject economics. Also, solid background equivalent of one full semester of studied economics and credit acquired in quantitative analysis (Micro-economics, macroeconomics, econometrics, or advanced statistical methods, international economics or other specific subjects in economic analysis.
- Students expected to finalise their course at the end of current academic year can also apply.
English Proficiency Requirement
You must submit an English proficiency Certificate for the program. The certificates with scores includes:
- TOEFL minimum score of 90
- IELTS at least 6.5
You can also submit proof of the English Language if you have studied a sufficient number of credits in the English Language Program. Remember, during the selection process, the proficiency of language will be checked either through an interview or through the administration of tests.

The application is online. Applicants can submit their applications through the EGEI online platform. If you apply by February 2024, you will automatically be considered for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters degree scholarship.
Application deadline for Erasmus Mundus Scholarship
The deadline for Erasmus Mundus scholarship is:
- For Partner countries ( 15th February,2024) Midnight, Italian Times
- For Programme Countries ( 28th February, 2024)
Those who are applying on self-finance can submit their application until 30th March 2024 (visa applying canidates) and 30th May,2024 (doesn’t need visa).
