The Global Voice scholarship is for students of Africa, the students born in any country within Africa is open for applications. The scholarship is for MA Creative Writing Prose Fiction, Biography and Creative NonFiction, scriptwriting or poetry in the school of Literature, Drama and And creative Writing.
If you are an African national or were born in any African country, you can apply for the Global Voices Scholarship programme. The scholarships are given to students who demonstrate exceptional creative writing skills and financial need.
The Global Voices scholarship provides tuition fee and Maintenance cost. The total value of the scholarship is £20,000.
Details of Courses covered by the scholarship
The scholarship cover the following courses including:
- MA Creative Writing ScriptWriting
- MA Creative Writing Poetry
- MA Creative Writing Prose Fiction
- MA Creative Writing (Non-Fiction)
The courses are offered by the University of East anglia. The courses are full time one year programs. The applicants will receive a Degree in Master of Arts. The criteria for the courses includes;
- Bachelors (Hons) degree 2:1
- Degree subject any
- English Language Proficiency certificate ( 7.0 score overall) while 7.0 in Writing and 6.0 in all other components)

How to apply for the scholarship ?
Once you fulfill all the requirements of the course, apply for the admission. The university will give an applicant number that is required for scholarship application.
The scholarship application includes;
- Applicant Number from the University
- Your personal information
- Course details that you have applied
- Academic information /employment details if any
- Financial need essay (500 word limit)
- Preferred writing form
- Why they select you for the award (500)
Once you give all these details you can submit your application.
