Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) invites applications from Pakistan/AJK students for a fully funded scholarship program. These scholarships are for Masters and Phd programs. University of Politechnica offers a number of scholarships for Pakistani students for the academic year 2024-2025 in the fields of Engineering and Information Technology. The scholarships are launched by the Rumanian Government. Students will be studying at the university of Politehnica Bucharest, Romania.
The scholarship is offered through HEC. It is a partner institute that helps to identify students for further process. Therefore, the students are required to submit two applications simultaneously. One application is for admission at the University of Politechnica, and the other application is to the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
HEC will select students, and share with the university later for further scholarship process. Also, remember that to apply for this scholarship, students need HAT test score. Higher Education Aptitude Test Known as HAT test is conducted under the Education testing council. The cost of the test is Rs.2000 pkr. If you have already given the HAT test, and you have your score, that is well and good. If not, then do apply as early as possible.

Eligibility Criteria for the scholarship Program
The applicant must fulfill the following criteria to apply for the University of Politehnica Scholarships Program:
- Applicants for the Masters program must have a Bachelor’s degree (16 years) and be under the age of 35 at the time of application.
- Applicants for PhD/Doctoral program must have a Masters degree MS/MPhil (17/18 years) and be under the age of 40 years at the time of application.
- All applicants are required to provide the valid HAT test score. HEC reserves the right to change or modify the nomination criteria.
Note- Applicants with incomplete degrees on closing date of application are not allowed to apply.

Required documents for the Scholarship
The applicant applying for the University of Politehnica Scholarships program must submit the following documents
- Application form
- Statement of document authenticity
- Consent of processing personal data
- Attested copies of all educational documents.
- Candidate’s letter of motivation.
- Documents to certify outstanding educational performances and candidate’s involvement in extracurricular and volunteering activities.
- Letter of recommendation to emphasize candidate’s qualities.
- CV in English, French or Romanian.
- Non-criminal Record (Police Clearance Certificate) not older than six months before the application deadline.
- All applicants must submit a medical certificate of satisfactory health condition. A written certificate from a physician to prove that the applicant does not have the following illnesses: AIDS, Hepatitis A, B, C or any other epidemic conditions.
- In case of employment, No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the applicant’s employer will be required.
Remember, hard copies of documents are not required at the application stage. However, you will be asked to submit hard copies if you are shortlisted for the scholarship.

The last date to submit your application for the University of Politehnica Scholarships program is 3rd May, 2024.

How to Apply for University of Politehnica Scholarships ?
As we mentioned, the students have to submit two applications simultaneously. The students will apply for the scholarship program through the HEC portal. If you do not have registered with HEC, you can register creating your profile. Once you create your profile at the portal, fill all the information including your personal, academic and professional information. Once you fill in all the information, select ‘’University of Politehnica scholarship’’.
