WTO Paid Young Professional Program 2025- Switzerland 

The World Trade Organization (WTO) is accepting applications for the Young Professional Program 2025. The participants of this program will work in Switzerland. It is a paid program for young professionals from both developing and least-developed countries. The applicant’s country of origin must be a member of WTO. The organization aims to develop the expertise of young professionals in international trade. The program is giving an opportunity to the young leaders to work alongside the employees of WTO. Hence, learning about international trade and building skills through practical work. It is one of the best chances to work with a leading trade organization. 

Since it is a paid program, participants do not have to worry about their expenses. The Young Professional program covers their living providing a good monthly salary of CHF 4000 along travel and medical charges. Besides, it is helping the participants in their career development and professional skills such as Trade and development, policies, and dispute settlement. During the one-year duration, the participants will work in Geneva, Switzerland. 

The Young Professional Program allows the participants to choose three areas of interest. You must choose your priority in order. Eligibility criteria for Young Professionals program 

To be eligible for the program Young Professionals, the applicant must fulfill the following criteria below, 

  • Must be a national of a World Trade Organization member state
  • have an advanced university degree in law, economics, and other international trade-related subjects relevant to WTO work
  • Moreover, the applicant must have a minimum of two years’ relevant experience
  • Demonstrate a high level of interest in international trade and commitment to WTO-related work
  • be fluent in English. A good working knowledge of one of the WTO’s other official languages, French or Spanish, would be an advantage
  • be 32 years of age or younger at the expected start date 1 January,2025 of the YPP, if selected.
  • Strong interest in international trade and a dedication to work with the World Trade Organization.
  • Moreover, the applicant must be proficient in English language. Proficiency in one of the WTO’s official languages, French or Spanish, is an  advantage.
  • must have an interest and similarity with the working of WTO

The last date to apply for WHO Young professional program is April 02,2024.

The application process for the Young Professional Program is through an online platform. Before you apply for the program, do go through eligibility criteria. Apply as early as possible for the smooth application process. Also, the program encourages women to apply.
